Advanced Networking Pack For WinXP???

I installed it this morning and I have a ton of questions, NONE of which are
effectively answered by the available documentation.

I use a D-Link 604 Router and would like to be able to play games with as
little hassle as possible.

One APPARENTLY easy way to do this would be by enabling UNIVERSAL PLUG &
PLAY.

So...

Does anyone know if the updated UPNP specicification plugs up the security
holes associated with the original version?

Which features of the "Networking Pack" do I use in conjunction with UPNP?

When I enable UPNP, do I also enable the new XP Internet Connection
Firewall?

How about the "Peer to Peer" software as well.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Rod;

Have you checked out this web page below for more info about the Advanced
Networking Pack For WinXP and the Peer-To-Peer software?

With your D-Link 604 router, are you experiencing problems while playing any
games? If so, witch games? Are you using the latest firmware on your D-Link
router? Do you have the XP personal firewall enabled at all times?

Have you used the peer-to-peer software from http://www.threedegrees.com/

If so , how well did it work for you? Any problems?
